SOMMERFEST, Sa., 11. Juli, 15 – 22 Uhr, Eintritt frei!
Am Samstag, 11. Juli 2026 von 15 bis 22 Uhr gibt es im Kunstmuseum Bochum wieder viel zu erleben. Beim Sommerfest erwarten euch ein volles Programm und jede Menge zu erkunden: Die Ausstellung von Yuko Mohri & Ei Arakawa-Nash — How We Meet und die Gruppenausstellung Das öffentliche Grün laden ein, neu über die Verbindungen von Kunst, Umwelt und öffentlichem Raum nachzudenken. Für alle, die mehr wissen wollen, gibt es öffentliche und kostenfreie Führungen. Die Ausstellungen wuchern aus den Museumsräumen hinaus, auf die umliegenden Wiesen und die Dachterrassen des Museums. Von hier oben könnt ihr den Stadtpark in seinem 150. Jubiläumsjahr aus der Vogelperspektive erleben.
Ein Vermittlungsprogramm für alle Generationen lädt ein, kreativ zu werden und wer Lust auf Musik hat, kann zu DJ-Sets den Abend auf der Tanzfläche ausklingen lassen. Auch das leibliche Wohl kommt nicht zu kurz. Und für die Lesefreudigen steht unser Bücherflohmarkt bereit. Kommt vorbei, wir freuen uns auf einen schönen Tag mit Kunst, Musik und euch!

On Saturday 11 July 2026, from 3 pm to 10 pm, there will once again be plenty to experience at the Kunstmuseum Bochum. The Summer Party offers a packed programme and plenty to explore: the exhibition by Yuko Mohri & Ei Arakawa-Nash — How We Meet and the group exhibition Das öffentliche Grün invite you to rethink the connections between art, the environment and public space. For anyone who wants to find out more, there are free public guided tours. The exhibitions reaching out from the museum onto the surrounding meadows and the museum’s roof terraces. From up here, you can enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the City Park in its 150th anniversary year.
An educational programme for all ages invites you to get creative, and if you fancy some music, you can round off the evening on the dance floor to DJ sets. There’s plenty of food and drink on offer too. And for book lovers, our book flea market is ready and waiting. Come along – we look forward to a wonderful day of art, music and your company!
